Online meeting 10.03.2023.

On March 10, 2023, an online meeting of the project partners was held, where they discussed the upcoming final meeting.

Due to the fact that Turkey was subjected to strong earthquakes in February 2023 and many buildings were destroyed in the city of Adana, it was decided to move the final meeting to the city of Athens, to our partners from Greece.
The final events are scheduled for May 3-5, 2023.

In November 2021, we visited the host partner IN.F.O.L - Innovation Training Orientation and Employment - a non-profit association headquartered in Rome, Italy under the DISTANCE project program to receive training in improving robotics and programming skills.

Online meeting 11.09.2021

 On 11-09-2021, an online international meeting on the project was held.

Kick off meeting in Seville, Spain

Within the framework of the Erasmus + KA226 project "DI.S.T.AN.C.E: A Digital Tool for Teaching Science and Coding in Distance Education"  completed its first meeting in Spain in the period from July 12-15, 2021.

 On April 22, 2021, the first online meeting of the coordinators of the international project "DI.S.T.AN.C.E" Erasmus + was held.

Topic: 

Discussion of the activities and budget of the project, preparation of the first meeting in Spain, Seville from 12 to 15.07.2021.

For the first meeting in Spain, everyone should prepare several presentations:

- about the country, city and educational institution,

- about planned meetings of project teachers in different countries,

- the English version of the achievements of the lesson of science and technology for children from 12 to 16 years old (annual plan and tasks for teaching science),

- as well as create some of your own proposals for the slogan and logo of the project.

Based on the experiences of science teachers working within our joint organizations and in the sphere of influence in the online training process, problems with a European dimension are found:

There is a need for reliable and observable tools that can be measured in the digital environment for science lessons.  

The theoretical knowledge gained in science lessons cannot be practiced in online lessons.

Therefore the concrete objectives of the project are:

Develop a reliable, observable and feedback digital measurement tool in online science classes;

To develop a virtual laboratory that can be used in a computer environment so that applied science lessons can be taught and projects for it can be developed;

Establish Online Training Access Centers for students who cannot access the Internet and technological devices in order to ensure equal opportunities in education;

Increase the level of technological literacy of teachers, students and parents;

To develop robotics and coding skills in teachers and students and make them usable in science class.
